massey 1540 hydraulic leak retrun pipe

There is a hydraulic leak on the pipe coming out of the filter assembly and going forward to engine. I see there is a rubber hose connecting the two pipes but that connection is ok.

the problem is I have the loader brackets and skid plate blocking my view and cannot determine where the leak is. further more removing the skid plate, looks like I have to remove the loader frame, lots of work especially in the cold weather. Looking for advice.

Give it a really good bath, run it a few minutes and then use an extendable mirror and flash light to locate your leak..... and yes, it is no fun washing a tractor when its cold outside.

Its coming from the transmission breather tube
