Massey 165 problem

Have a 6' woods on it.. I just got it rebuilt a month ago.. So Im bush hogging been running about hour half it dies.. check the gas I got about a 1/2 inch So I put 5 gallons diesel in it.. It was about a hour time I went to get some fuel put it in wait about 10 min and it starts... I run it another hour half and it shuts down..
Any Ideals how to solve this one??

Probably a clogged screen or a dirty filter.

Just to be sure, WHAT was rebuilt--The Woods or the Massey 165?

engine was rebuilt he thought bad injector did compression test and it was bad so rebuilt engine. New filters cleaned gas tank out.. After putting in the fuel to full it did start. Ran it about a hour and it shuts down. I let it sit 2 hrs went back and IT STARTED,, Put it in the barn

Did you remove the fuel valve from the tank? Cleaning the fuel tank may not clean the screen. Or it could be a clogged valve.

Turn off the fuel valve and disconnect the fuel line. Put a can or something under the valve and turn it on. You should get a heavy flow of fuel. Check the can for dirt.
