Wanted to know if if this tractor would be a good buy. Its 4x4, 32hp,400hrs,1466 loader,mf backhoe attach., 5'brushog and boxblade all for 16,400 thanks John

slowpoke, As Jerry said if its clean and in good shape(no sheet metal damage) it would be a VVERRRYY good price IMHO /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif .... Have you tested it out yet? Does it have any leaks anywhere? tried working all the hydraulics? transmission etc. Seems like a great deal,without seeing it in person that is /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

For what its worth I just purchased a new/used 1433v (w/o the backhoe)similarly equiped, for about the same price. It has a bush hog FEL, a 5' bush hog style mower and a box blade. The deal also included the trailer.
If you balance the trailer,low hours, and year(04) against
what your looking at with the backhoe it looks like a good deal. Take into account what the other gentlemen offer regarding the condition and abuse(or lack of).
If the previous owner used the backhoe alot the tractor may have alot less wear except for the hours on the motor.
Just an aside, does anyone know what a backhoe for a 1433 cost?

I am thoroughly satisfied with the tractor itself. Except for being stopped by rain, I would have leveled and graded 10 loads of dirt(sand to you folks who know the difference)in about 6.5 hours.

Lucky, I think a backhoe option is over $7k for that tractor ,at least thats what my dealer quick quoted me when he delivered mine... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I saw an ad on e-bay this morning, a dealer was selling a tractor by itself and when questioned about a back hoe gave a price in the mid 5's. Either way it still makes the deal Slowpoke is looking at a bargain if the tractor is in good shape.
If a fella didn't want the hoe he could sell it and bring the price of the deal down even more.
Sheeeesh! Listen to me I haven't even had my tractor a week and I'm thinking about upgrades. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

About a year ago, the MF 1475 was about $6500. I can't give an exact, because there was other equipment involved.

On the PTO cover ,for the 1433v yes besides the sheild over top there is a plastic slip over cover with two bolts to hold it in place. Took mine off to use mower and it has never been back on /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
