Massey 245 Front end loader problem

Hello. I have a mf 245. Has a front end loader with the selector valve for 3 pt or loader selection. The loader is very slow and weak. But the 3 point is fast and strong just leaks down within about 20 minutes. I haven't been able to find a filter for the hydraulic pump. I just got the tractor. And was told that the cylinders for the loader were too big. I have looked at some other mf245 on web, and they were much smaller cylinders than what are on my tractor. I was just wondering if anybody could help me. Thanks.

Here are my thoughts,however I'm no expert. I have large cylinders on an allis Chalmers. Yes she is pretty slow. However if your patient she is like Hercules. Plenty of lift power. Large cylinders might make your tractor a little slow, but not really weak. Like your tractor, my allis Chalmers has a lot faster responose with the.three point than with the loader. With your there point leaking down, my guess is you have a valve body leaking. The fact that you three point is fast and strong to me indicate the pump is working well and pumping good. And like I say if you have larger than normal cylinders that would tend to make your loader slow, but not necessarily weak. Hope this helps.
