massey 4600 series warning beeper

after a little searching I located the annoying beeper that sounds the ear piercing alarm when you are feathering the clutch or get out of the seat with pto on.it is located on the backside of the instrument cluster kinda on the right side if you are sitting on the tractor.i placed a couple pieces of tape on it and quietened down by about half I thought about unplugging it but thought it might screw up something else or cause it to throw a code it is not bad at all now

You should not remove the blasted thing as there are often several items connected to the same alarm. Like you I use a layer or two of tape, once I found it.
