I think that the Massey 1423 or the Challenger MT225 would be a match for your tractor. Both of these units have a 3 cyl Iseki diesel, naturally aspirated rated at 23 HP. The Massey was available with a standard or hydrostatic transmission. The Challenger was hydrostatic.

The only MFs that had that sheet metal in the last several years was the MF 1165.
The Iseki TK series still have that sheet metal. But it was changeed on the Massey Fergusons. The large TKs are TK527~MF1240, TK532~MF1250, and TK538~MF1260 There was a larger one a TK546, but off hand I can't tell you right now what it crossed with unless it was the MF1165 with the original Iseki metal . I can't tell you which of the smaller ones had that sheet metal.

Sorry about that last post. If you want to post the engine number, I might be able to cross it with something close. I am bad about keeping as much as I can on the computer. For speed that is good, but when you have a major hard drive crash. It is bad.

Current TK's use the 16x16 manual shuttle not the 12x12. This tractor uses an older style nose piece than what has been used for the last 4-5 years. You can visit www.iseki.co.jp and see the current TK's and the specs.

I agree with that. Current specs are 16x16. We have to remember that this isn't a current specked tractor either.

I won't go with you on this one. MF hasn't used it for that long, but the TK picture above was taken off the same Iseki site. Iseki still uses that hood on there corp labeled tractors, but MF has specked a different hood even though they are still TKs. The last Massey that used that hood was the MF1165 and I don't know the exact time they quite selling it. Iseki TK

I have been working with the Iseki factory for the last 5 years. They have not used that nose during that time nor have they used a 12x12 mechanical shuttle in years. MF used that sheet metal back on the 1100 series in the early 1990's and when they moved into the 1200 series the 1165 was added. Yes, the hood panels are the same style as an 1165 but the nose is of an older Iseki tractor. It was not from the 2000 and later year era. The new Massey's (1500's) are based off of the TG tractors, which are the domestic tractor used by Iseki in Japan with some changes to make them fit the North American market. They had been exporting TK's to countries like Austraila but are now moving to export the TG series instead. Confusing I know. Anyways, several parts are going to be similar. If you have a model and serial # I can see if I can find out exactly when it was made and to what model it would be closest to.

I reread my post. Mine is a 4 split 4 = 16 speed. I was just going by the old wheel date method of dating. It has an 03 on the wheel just after the size. It is an Iseki Japan labeled TA207. Maybe the guy from Iseki can date it by the TA207 label. I have an Iseki parts manual coming in the next few weeks ,so hopfully I won't need anything I can't get from some kind of Massey.
