Massey F 1235

On My 1235 with hydrostatic when I am in top gear and moving along at fast pace it seems as tho a brake comes on and tractor labors and slows down. This only happens when in the fast position with the 3 speed, and about 1500 r.p.m. and not all the time. The slow and med speed work fine.

Any ideas??

I had a 1215 which I think is along the same design. Does it have a pull handle with a button release or the park? It could be a broken return spring underneath
