massey fergson 1020 alternator

looking a massey fergson 1020 alternator or one that well fit any one knowes thanks:cool2::cool2:

The Allis Chalmers 5020 used same engine and is very similar to the MF 1020. If you are having a hard time finding an "MF 1020" alternator, I'd try a search for an AC 5020 alt. I've seen them on Ebay for about $100.

welcome to tractor by net your 1020 should have a 3 cylinder toyosoha motor cannot find the alternator number for yours but it should be a hitachi brand unit the part number should begin with the letters lr-and a series of 6 or 7 numbers or if you can post a few pictures of it i have books that i can i'd for you you could put a delco 10si/12si on it but requires some modifications

thanks alot my alternator is a permanent magnet its a toyosha motor its small.

ok now we are getting somewhere look at it look for number beginning with the letters GP- or number beginning with 15531- or something similar if you can give me the measurements between bolt holes center to center and picture of your harness plug can get your cost then. a little info about the permanent magnet alternator it will produce only enough power to charge battery and run any factory accessories it may have they will max out 12.5 to 13.0 volts almost impossible to repair but good rebuild shop can test on test stand

alternator model is gp9153 14volts 19amps the bolt holes are 5 and 3 quarter center to center thave 2 wires thanks

Have you tried https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...dsIrSwF6H5LVLkCLMZqtraQ&bvm=bv.56146854,d.aWc They are in Holcomb, Ms. After having the one on my dad's MF 210 rebuilt 6 or 7 times over a 10 year period. I called them and they had one brand new sitting on the shelf so I went ahead and got a extra water pump while I was there just because they had it in stock. It's a 1976 model and some parts or had to come by.
