just a brief bit of info the mf-210 has a regular hitachi alternator the 1020 has a permanent magnet alternator they both do the same job but that is it i have dealt with these units about 17 years now the older style you could put bearings in them that was it the new style which you have is virtually impossible to get apart and usually are beyond repair if you get them open make sure whoever you call understands it is a p/m alternator with external regulator/rectifier somewhere else on tractor i will see what i can get when i get to work tommorrow and repost
