Massey Ferguson 1010 running problem. timer?

Question? Have a Massey Ferguson 1010 that I can start with the gps for 30 seconds, it will run fine for 4 min. then pour black smoke out exhaust then slowly die. Can repeat process, same result. Is this a problem with my glow plug timer? If yes where can I find one?

ore is the problem only excisting when running lor rpm's?
