I have a Woods RC6 rotary cutter that I have used on my 1734e (HST) to keep 7 acres cut down a few times a year. It runs this with ease. I can typically cut at full speed in the second range without any bogging. I have had zero issues with my 1734. I have 200 hours on it. We purchased this in fall of 2016.
Enjoy!
I have 3years and 520hrs on my 1734e hydro. I live off the grid on 80+ acres in the woods of Downeast Maine; I use this tractor for winching, skidding and splitting firewood, snowplowing and snowblowing, road grading, brush hogging, ground clearing, general loader work etc. Other than issues that resulted from a batch of contaminated fuel this tractor has been very dependable. I would never consider a gear transmission for my applications; finding the hydro vastly more productive, convenient, and safer. This tractor has always had sufficient pto power even through some massive snow storms that the downeast coast is famous for. All that being said I can highly recommend this tractor even though I find myself looking to trade up to a heavier machine for more capable ground clearing and snow pushing.
