How is it taking off the bucket,bh,and mmm. Can it be done on grass or does it need to be done on a hard surface?

Everything can be taken off on the grass. I usually do it on the concrete, because everything is more level. But yes, you can remove everything on the grass.

Oh, and everything is easy to remove. To aid in removing/installing the MMM I usually attach the FEL and lift the front of the tractor high enough to drag the MMM into position. If the MMM is not on I always have the FEL on anyway.

Yes, I'd say that was a good deal! I paid the same for my 2310 3+ years ago, also with 0% @ 72 months, but no MMM. (I did get a set of chains for the front with it, however.)

I do have access to a concrete surface; using that, removing or installing the FEL is now down to less than 3 minutes. Backhoe, on grass, is about 8 minutes to remove, but it always takes me longer to get it lined back up & on... about 12 minutes or so. If you're working on grass, you might want to put a board beneath the FEL stabilizer legs/feet so they don't sink in.

I've since purchased a used MMM- it works extremely well, IMO. Mine will slide in or out without having to lift the tractor (on concrete again), but you might want to consider drilling some extra holes in the non-swiveling wheels' shafts to be able to set them sideways to aid in rolling it out on grass.

Anyone try the backhoe dolly on youtube. Looks pretty good especially if you are limited on space. What about turning radius for mowing around trees? Cannot find that anywhere.

Don't know about the dolly, but the GC will turn so sharp you'll have to be careful not to dig into the turf. Going around trees shouldn't be a problem, unless you have branches hanging down.

I am looking to park my gc2610 in my 16x20 shed. The floor is framed with 2x10 16 oc. Do you think the floor is capable of holding the 2700 lbs without sagging over time?

I figured out the load capacity of the floor. It will be fine. How does the diesel start at 10degrees f.? It will be parked in a unheated space. Are cold weather diesel additives really necessaary?

I believe that they are necessary, I use the white powerserve in the winter. Nothing worse that trying to start a gelled fueled tractor when you really need it! I think that the other additives in it also help lube the top end of the engine because of the ultra low sulfur diesel doesn't have enough lubricity for the engine, IMO. I use the silver bottle powerserveice during the summer months. It also boosts the cetane of the fuel. The choice is yours, but this is what I do, and would recommend. Good luck!

I'll second Wacky's thoughts. Yes, use an additive. There are many on the market, a lot of folks use Power Service products. I use Stanadyne, because that's what I have for my VW TDI.

As far as starting at 10F, they'll do it, but a block heater will make the whole cold-weather starting process a lot easier, on the battery as well as the starter & engine. Just don't forget to allow sufficient time for the hydraulic fluid to warm up before working it.:)
