Massey Ferguson 50

I was wondering what a good start price for an old Massey 50 tractor. It's the tractor only, been sitting a long time, for sure needs 1 rear tire. It's one of those......it was running great when we parked it kind of deals. I'm sure the engine is ok because I remember them using it to cut hay and scraping the roads with it before the guys dad died. After he died it sat a long time before all the family feuding was over and they finally split all his stuff up. The guy is cleaning up the place a little and decided he doesn't need this tractor and wants to sell it. He wants me to make an offer and I was just wondering what to offer him for it. Oh it has the gas motor in it.

Some where between $500-750. I know it seems insulting to offer that, but doesn't start, doesn't roll, just isn't worth much above scrap. Running with 4 tires that hold air looks like $2250-4000 online.

Thanks....that's what I was thinking too, just wanted to see what some others thought about it.
