Assuming you have an agricultural model 65, here is a exploded view of your throttle linkage. As Soundguy said, there is/are friction disc's. The 65 has 2,
(#4's in the exploded view) where as on like my Ford 2000, there is only one.
I just replaced mine week before last. A 15 minute job, including sipping on a cup of coffee... You can snug the nut on the bottom to your likeness, for tension.
Here is the part number & description copied and pasted directly from the AGCOPARTSBOOK...
184507M1 2 Disc, Friction (9/16 x 1-7/8 x 1/8" Cork)
I made one about 5 years ago for my Ford out of heavy gasket material. It worked until this year. Decided from looking online at aftermarket ones, it was worth maybe getting an original so as to last longer... Aftermarket one's were like $3.50 each, so the OEM shouldn't be more than a couple bucks more. WRONG..!! Almost $14.00... Either I got hooked, or they are just pretty darn proud of their parts.
I couldn't find aftermarket disc's for the 65, doing a quick search. Just giving fair warning for sticker shock, if you get them through a M-F dealer, although they may be less expensive.
Hope this helps..!!
