I have not seen any welcomings extended to you so welcome to TBN :)! Patrick_g is right. MF's are solid tractors. I have always been blue, but I have seen quite a few MF's doing what they are supposed to do out there in the "real" world. I have not always been happy with the "local" dealerships and there is one Blue dealership with whom I will never, ever do business; but the dealerships (Orange and Blue) that I do do business with have saved me quite a bit of money with their support, recommendations, and referral to cheaper providers for repairs and/or modifications as needed. The beauty of TBN is the fact that it is a repository of the membership's collective experience. We also like to spend everyone else's money :p!

Patrick G,
Thanks for the advice. I will certainly use it. And thank you, for not talking down to me like I am an idiot.
I was not trying to pick a fight as Jerry insinuated, only, to find, if some one had any consumer reports that I could review.
Thanks again
By the way, this, leak is not causing me grief. What causes me grief is these self appointed experts that reach conclusions with out any evidence of fact
Thanks Again
I was trying to get out of the house to go some where and should have not posted or at least worded it different. I know that you didn't mean to pick a fight. I hate it when color wars get started because they can get real bad at times. Anytime anyone asks which is better without qualifying what he or she wants to do or the type of land they have and then pits two different brands against each other, a color war can start. Like I said, "I don’t think that you mean to, it is just new buyers remorse. It will pass.". We all have been in that position to not be sure of something new that we bought. That is just natural, especially with as big a purchase as these compact tractors can be. Sorry that it came out the way that it did.
Lets see if we can save you a trip to the dealer. Can you see where the leak is coming from? Is it from a fitting or a hose?

Well, to be fair, if someone is coming to this post without any prior knowledge of your experience with your tractor there is _nothing_ to go on. I have not seen your previous post so the only thing I know is that you bought a Massey and you're having a hydraulic leak of some sort.

And, to be fair, looking for brand x vs brand y after you've bought brand x is a bit after the fact and might suggest to readers that don't know anything about you that there might be a good chance you are trying to instigate a brand war/flame.

Next time, consider starting the post with some facts of your own that we can work with. This is a friendly and helpful bunch here and there is a good chance someone can help you out, if you let them. We have disagreements here, but they are typically civil and almost always educational.

I recently went through all the new tractor anxiety after buying my Kubota. After a few weeks it began leaking hydro fluid. It was leaking from a bad o-ring in the dealer-installed rear remote. Probably from installer error. It cost me nearly $100 to get it to the dealer and back (and that still bothers me a little) but they fixed it quickly and I haven't had a quality related problem since.

The biggest thing is not always immediately jump on the defensive........it is hard enough to get your point across on this single sided medium, let alone worry about how it will be taken by everyone........
