The prices quoted are fair. The 0% for 72 months costs the dealer. The cash price has a slight discount for the dealer. Good luck.

$2,000 on 20,000, that's 10% they are charging you for your 0% financing. That's pretty expensive no interest. Car dealerships do it all the time, before you look at a car they ask you how you are going to pay for it. If you finance it through them they get some money there so they can afford to give you a little better price on the vehicle. If you don't finance they charge you more. At dealerships they always get their money, reguardless of type of vehicle.

Thanks again for the replies guys. I worked out the exact difference between the cash and financed prices, and the actual difference amounts to 11.97% more for the 72 month financing deal. I haven't had time to get back there to see if we could narrow the gap a little bit, and I am still considering some other machines and colors, including bigger ones to do a bunch of stuff on our small 21 acre ranch. The 2410 TLB is a fine tractor and would easily accomplish much of the stuff we do here, and the stuff we haven't got done yet. Like boats, with tractors, right away I always want two. We are considering also the Kubota B series, particularly the 26/2920s, a wee bit larger with a bit more ground clearance for the rocky parts of our piece of dirt out here. We've worked the place for the past 6 years with ATVs, trailers, my kids, hired help and hands only, but now some tasks need doing that diesel horses are made for. An almost 12% cash discount is nice, but I loves me my cash, and if it's gotta go I like to see it fade slowly in the monthly mists, but that extra $2k+ is begging me to keep it home, too. So, still pondering. The difference is easier to swallow if a bunch of it goes to insurance, so I appreciate that info, too. Whatever tractor seat shows up here this spring/summer, it's going to enjoy a tall blonde's butt on it probably more than mine the lucky thing, and no, I don't mean me. :thumbsup:Thanks for now.

I just got a quote of 15,900 for a GC2410 TLB from an East Texas dealer.

Agco gives the dealers discounts for cash deals and most dealers past that on to the customers. They do that so they dont have a paper trail and have to worry about getting the payment each month or doing a possible repo. I myself pass the savings on to the customer. One can get the cash price and finance at the current intrest rate.
