Massey still in shop Nov '21' March 25 any recourse? A lemon law?

I have had a LS tractor in the shop for about 10 months waiting on a injector...

I sure hope your warranty period is extended the same amt of time your LS has been in the shop...

I have a warranty issue on my 1740. its been at the Massey dealer since November and parts coming March ... Well march is almost over and no parts. I'm so frustrated right now. There is a good Kubota shop and I would love to just go buy a replacement. This is my first tractor and loved it until it stopped working. I doubting Massey quality and serviceability right now.

What, if any, recourse do I have? I could purchase a new Kubota and wait for the Massey to be operational and sell when that is possible. I would feel somewhat cautious about selling it to anyone.

I have 17 acres and it's time to start spring work.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like a cracked EGR valve cooler if it has one. If it is similar to what is on a diesel truck they could possibly have it welded up to get you by until the new one comes in. Unfortunately parts are hard to get. I have been waiting for the 3rd function remote valve for my Kubota 4060 le for 5 months. It’s affecting all brands.

Unfortunatey the warranty expired about a year prior. It has turned into a huge can of worms and has completely me turned me off from buying any new age tractor.

thanks for all the comments. The Massey came home last week and seems to be all well and good. The dealer said AGCO wouldn't extend the warranty. I need to go in and have an in-depth conversation with the mechanic. I do appreciate all the comments because I have to study up on these issues being an idiot/novice no mechanical ability. I guess I thought I was buying a lawnmower:-< Just kidding. But thank you.
