I recently had bucket hooks welded on. I bought a can of Kubota Orange II paint at the dealer, cost $14.00.

Is there any where we can get a matching paint off the shelf for a reasonable price?

I think Massey Fergeson orange sold at Atwoods is very close to the same color. J

I use Allis-Chalmers Orange on mine, it is 4 bucks a can at the farm supply. I am unable to tell the difference, but you may want to try it under the fender first. Having said that, the next can I buy may not match. The paint on my Kubota Loader is much thicker than the paint on the sheet metal.

TSC and Rural King should carry it. I've seen it in my local stores. I think it was around $5/spray can. They had quart and gallon cans also.

TSC has it for 20 bucks a gallon or $7.50 a quart. Spray cans are 5 or 6 bucks.

Dupli-color Chevy Engine is one that matches well. I am going by memory here but a couple years ago on TBN there was a thread about this. I bought the Dupli-color and it was a perfect match for my old B2150.

Newer Kubotas have a slightly different tint. I still have some cans of the paint and plan on spraying my blade and maybe my rotary or finish deck orange.

Just a warning....on Wednesday I bought a spray can of "BPS Agri Systems Tractor & Implement Enamel" (Kubota Orange) at TSC. It does not match the color on my 2710 nor its brand-new FEL. The paint I bought was not red enough. It says "Satisfaction Guaranteed", so I guess I'll get my money back.

There are apparently 2 colors of Kubotas available--old Kubota orange and new Kubota orange, fortunately for future old (as in aged) Kubotas they will fade to the same dull orange so I am told. There are also several variations of Kubota gray also it seems. You will not be able to get a perfect match, the "paint in a can" is of a different type from what is used at the factory and the application process is obviously different so you will never get a perfect match. I bought my tractor used, and if I look closely, I can see where the dealer (or someone) touched up some scratches. It is a great color match. I was just hoping for a similar (or at least close) match from the TSC paint. I think I'll buy my next can at the dealer, and forget about trying to save 2 bucks /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif. Come to think of it, I'll have used up that saved 2 bucks in gas by the time I make a trip to the dealer again /w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif.

Seems to be at least 6 shades of orange paint used on Kubota tractors. The later models get more and more red in the orange. We used to mix 3 shades but decided in the end to stick with one medium shade, which covers the majority early to late models. The later reddish ones look better in my opinion, not so faded in appearance.
