Should all tires on a trailer ideally match in all respects? My 7x12 dump trailer came with Freestar Radial ST235/80 R16 Load Range E tires. I ran over an object and put a large slice in the sidewall of a tire. In searching for a replacement all the numbers match up except that my tire is marked as a F 108 and all the tires I am finding are M 108. I think that the F and the M is a tread type or design indicator but not sure. Since the tires are not drive tires maybe it makes no difference but it might make some difference when braking. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank's K7LN for the helpful reply. I did not know that code for the speed rating. A rating of 80mph is way more than my usual speed, nice to have a cushion though. Guess I will go for the M rating on any replacement tires. The trailer is a 2013 model with original tires and stored outside so others are likely nearing the end of their life also.
