So I have a 4'x8' landing/deck when going out from the solarium made up of pressure treated plywood that was installed 17 years ago. It was stained as well but with the years and salt, the top layers are starting to delaminate. Because I didn't think ahead when I built it, changing it would mean dismantling the railing as well as the siding on two walls to take it off and put a new one on.
So I'm looking at alternative. The remaining layers are still strong and doesn't feel spongy. Is there a material that is not brittle (it's wood so it does bend a bit) that I could pour over the plywood that would strengthen it and prevent the remaining layers from de-laminating? It has to be able to sustain -35C to +35C (yeah, temperature fluctuate quite a lot here during the year) and tolerate salt.
