Every time I check this thread and see the pictures, I want to jump in the car and head to the dealer's. Take my money please! I don't know how I happened upon the Mahindras but I do like 'em!

It must be the pretty sports car red paint and sleek styling. When is the last time you saw an orange sports car?

What's this you ask...................

This was this beginning of last weekend lol. So business as usual, get out of work, hook up the mowing deck, and off mowing.

I blew through our yard, loving life . Put the lights and hazards on, made my way up to the in laws. Did there front and back yards. Noticed before I was about to leave the path to the dog kennels was getting high. So I eased into it. And then WHAMO!!! Every sound you don't want a brand new mowing deck to make. A rock, and not just any lol, but a biggie. Clutched the tractor as fast as I could and took a peak. Underneath I saw my middle blade wedged up against a bent piece of metal. So I sit down licking all the wounds of what was my pride LOL. First thought oh boy the misses ain't gonna be happy. Drove the tractor home and parked it. Crawled underneath to see what I could do. I freed up the blade and did a preliminary look see. Parked it for the weekend and sulked lol. Sunday rolled around and I took a closer look at everything. To my amazement and surprise, not a flipping thing wrong besides a bent baffle on the deck. The tractor linkages for the mowing deck, fine, blades and everything underneath the deck, fine, not a bit of damage to anything but the baffle.

That brings us to today. Got home from work, rigged up the loader to pick the deck up and pull it out to begin repairs. I took out the baffle and cut out the bent metal. Washed and inspected the entire underside of the deck, still no damage PHEW. Reinstalled the baffle and flipped the deck back over. Washed and cleaned the top to further inspect for damage, and none. With the deck all cleaned and ready, I pulled out the manual and located and greased all the zerks. Deck looking shiny and good as new I hooked it back up to the tractor. Tested all the height control settings, and good to go. Mowed the entire yard and you wouldn't even know what I did last Friday!!!! No difference in cut quality whatsoever! Mowing season crisis averted lol. I'll probably replace the baffle at the end of the mowing season when I get the deck ready to be stored for winter.

I'm here to tell you this deck is a Beast. It's built solid, and cuts fantastic! If it wasn't built as solid and rugged as it is it probably would have wiped the deck out. If you're considering a little tractor like this, do it. I love this little tractor. The Max is one stout set up!

Glad to hear you are getting on well with your Max. I have had the eMax 22 for a couple of years now and it's been a great help around here. We raise and show llamas so there is a fair amount of manure to haul and pastures to groom. Since we are getting a bit older having the FEL has been a blessing and a real back saver. I've had a 9N and an 8N for years but as we know they are limited in what they can do and with the age on them they are getting unreliable and are just harder to operate. I do keep one hitched to the manure spreader all the time. The eMax is a breeze to use with the HST and power steering. I use a 60" finish mower to mow pastures and have a brush hog if they get out of hand. We also have a landscape rake that I use on the driveway and to level paddocks, a back blade and a carry-all. Just got a 3pt spreader for seeding and fertilizing the pastures. The thing I use quite often is clamp-on bucket forks. They've been extremely useful for everything from lifting old barn doors to get the on track to removing dead animals from deep in the barn (our herd is getting older and are slowly dying off). The large tractors everyone seems to favor couldn't do that very easily, no trouble for the eMax to maneuver inside the pens or scrape them if needed.

Preparing a 20 x 20 area for sod. HST and compactness very handy on my Max24. We'll see how she does unloading 400sf. on a pallet of sod. Success may depend on moisture content. I'm going to see is the nursery has a scale.

Good to hear how much you all enjoy the EMax, and Max tractors. There are undeniably tough, and stout. My Max 24 has rose to every task I've needed it to do, and has been a huge help. Sorry I haven't updated the thread lately, but we have a little one on the way and had to remodel his room for the misses . Soon I'll be redoing the in laws driveway, I'll be using the BoxBlade and will post some pictures of that when done. As always in the meantime, the Max helps keeping things done all the time around here. Take care. Donnie
