MAHINDRA MAX 26XL HST
Hi all.

I recently put together my own 3rd function kit for my Max 26hst.
I'm having a bit of trouble with the plumbing out of the loader valve.

what I thought was the power beyond port doesn't allow any fluid out of it while the tractor is running and valve in neutral, its only when you apply one of the functions that the fluid starts to flow from the port, leading me to believe that its a return to tank port.
here is a pic of the loader valve

The port on the side ahead of the "T" port is the one that I thought was the power beyond port.

Does anybody have any experience with this valve set-up?

Thanks

So the very top line is the Pump line. Then you have the 4 lines with Quick disconnects that go to the loader.

The line with the yellow 90 degree fitting is the Tank line.

The very bottom line is the Power beyond line which will have flow when the engine is running and the valve in neutral.

I don't know why that "T" is marked over the PB port. Is it engraved or someone just marked it with a white marker or something?

To the TBN forum. You came to the right place to get answers.

I not only wonder about the "T" on the PB port, but why is there a whit "P" on the Tank line?

From what I remember when I did mine the PB is the feed for the next valve in line. My Emax loader valve feeds the backhoe via the PB port. My backhoe comes off so the hoe runs off the PB.Therefore the PB port on the loader valve Goes to the IN on the new valve and that valves PB port goes back to the backhoe line you removed from the original loader valve. Itç—´ a big circle, returns are all connected which go back to the tank, the pump line goes to the first valve in the system and provides the pressure for all.

You should be able to find a schematic of the hydro system for that model. Trace the pump, return and PB lines and mark them.
Those marks on the valve maybe casting numb

The C at the bottom of the hose (beside the P indicates the PowerBeyond (my understanding)..

Oh, you have to look really close for the C in this picture...

C usually stands for Carry over or high pressure carry over which is just another name for Power beyond (PB).

Power beyond is actually more of an American thing than anything else. Rest of the world just uses Carry over wording.

P always stands for Pressure.
