The MaxxForce 10 used to be the DT570 developed on a DT466 base. The same goes with that: IH had a very reliable engine platform but their CEO with no engineering experience was hell bent on "diesel only" meaning EGR to reduce nitrous oxides where Europe adopted DEF already.This particular engine is a Maxforce 10 at 330HP, so it’s smaller than the MAN.
