I've got to get better looking ballast back there. Not quite as sexy as a grapple but it gets the job done and will also be useful (with the addition of some straps) for carrying some of my wife's larger potted plants around.
Having used the forks to do a little clean up around the property I must say I'm happy I got the QA forks rather than bucket forks. Anyone contemplating bucket forks should strongly consider welding hooks to the top of the bucket - I've used the rear of the forks as a tie-down point for some of the stuff I've had to move. Of course if you've got a lot of brush to move a grapple is a better tool since you don't have to leave your seat and, let's face it, it's very cool in a manly sort of way, but if you've got delicate stuff you'd want to carefully secure with straps the forks are a great choice. Oh yeah, I've heard they work well with pallets, too.

Sorry, premature posting again. These are remanufactured RR ties about 9 feet long and weigh about 300 lbs each. I had to remove a couple that were being used as fence posts and carry them to the storage pile.
