McCormick CT41 HST

I have a 4041 EZ shift. I have no complaints so far but only have about 55 hours on it. As far as the loader, I have not had any trouble with the curl. I have only used it to spread gravel, fill and load horse poo. As previously stated, my loader has the bigger cylinders. I have added a TnT kit, ROPS lighting, and an air filter monitor. Toolbox is next.

No bad news from anyone, I might just have to buy this tractor.

Thank you for the feedback.

I have a 2010 R4010 gear 41HP (sold new to me last May). That model became the R4041 in 2011. My only beef is with the bucket roll-back power. They went to larger bucket cylinders and moved the joystick to the fender in 2011. I have about 260 hours on mine.

On edit: From every picture I can find, the McCormick is the same tractor with a different loader. The loader on the McCormick has different mounts as well. From what I can see, it would have better bucket leverage than my LS loader.

The McCormick has found it's way to the house for a trial run. I'd have to agree with you, I think the bucket might be over sized for the cylinders on the loader, It's very weak in the curl, Holds more than my L2800 does, just takes a little longer to get it in there.

Where do people put tool boxes on these things?

I catch heck from the safety police because I keep my ROPS bar folded. I made a shelf there for my tool box, a chain box, and my winch battery. My saw scabbard is bolted to the ROPS bar too. I still plan to make my own bar top so I have that back. But, it has to be lower than the original by a bit to get under things I have to regularly get under.

Hey, you're being safe, I can see your ear protection in the photo. :)

The local safety police would have a problem with that here too. I do think a bar installed between the uprights is about the only spot though. I'll probably do something similar.

Here's the flip-side.

The plan is to make shorter uprights that will pin into the old pin holes of the ROPS bar and put a bar across and build a sunshade on that. I want to make sweeps that come up from the loader mount to join the ROPS and support the roof. I need the lid to be about 7 inches lower than the stock ROPS.

Holy cr@p, Batman! That's lots of stuff. I assume one of those has your lunch? :licking:
My ROPS was way too tall - I cut it down about 3 - 4 inches and it was much better.

Well I took the plunge & traded my Kubota for the McCormick. :) Went out the very next day & got a 3ph backhoe for it. :D Now if it will just stop raining I can get the drainage in that we need for all this rain :)

Thank you to everyone who helped me learn about this tractor.
