To close one of these loops I asked my wife about whiskey burgers and she said whiskey goes in glasses while hamburgers go in buns and we wont be getting them mixed up at this house.
Only if the food is hot.Raw veggies are good but you really should wear something during dinner......
Since the daily requirement for saturated fat and cholesterol is Zero - what about the chicken, oh I know we can remove it also.
there is an RDA for cholestrol.
there is an RDA for cholestrol.
What I sense here is a bunch of grumpy old men with bad cholesterol numbers who probably didn't take care of themselves in their earlier lives and may now have some hostility towards folks that can eat stuff that they can no longer eat.Or, perhaps, some good guys that have genetic heart trouble that was out of their control from birth that want to open some folks eyes to heart disease. Either way, you can still eat fairly healthy at fast food places if you put some effort into it.
I eat about 19-20 meals per week. 7-8 are meatless. 7 are chicken or fish. And 4-5 are pork or beef. A lot of fruits, nuts and vegetables. About 18-24 cookies per week(depending on size of cookie) and about a gallon and a half of 2% milk. And the occasional root beer float. Maybe two beers per week on the weekend. 5 of those meals are at fast food places on average. And as stated, my numbers have come down to what they are supposed to be. Take it or leave it. I'm going to lunch. :licking:
Cholesterol only comes from animal products. Surprisingly a lot of people do not know this.
Moss you are reading way too much into this. McDonalds said there food is not healthy you say it is because you like it and it's cheap. Millions of people agree with you. Don't mind us few who agree with McDonald's.
Houston, I was thinking about it and you are right about calling the food unhealthy.
That is like blaming the gun for a killing.
99% of the food is just that - food. I can think of only one man made food (really an additive we just call it a food because it is mixed in with food)) that I would consider unhealthy and that is the processed trans-fat.
Of course there are other additives that have been taken off the market because they are toxic or cancerous to humans and they are still finding more. But all unadulterated natural food should be healthy, well unless spoiled or rotten.
The individuals overconsumption is another matter.
some would argue this:

I guess you could say " Surprisingly a lot of people do not know this "
