That is a lot of blueberries all in one place. Growing up in MT we would pretty much only find them in the mountain on north slopes and in small patches... just enough to justify taking a little break from cutting firewood
Back in the mid 1960's, my sister and I along with a bunch of other kids we went to school with use to rake blueberries.
Was a good way to earn money to buy school clothes.
Around here blueberries are grown in rows on 5' high bushes. We just walk down the row and pick them by hand. You can easily get a quart in 4-5 minutes. U-pick operations are popping up everywhere.
