Yep. - Going with a gasser this time. I don't tow enough to need a diesel. I don't go over 12K ever, and now i'm lucky if I do that 6/7 times a year. Other times the trailers are light (3-5k) so I figure the 6.4 gas will be plenty. I also found I averaged 12/13 mpg on my diesel running around and towing I got about 9.7-10 (diesel is about 25 cents a gallon more here on average)

Right now RAM has a ton of rebates on 18's and my diesel did hold it value well so it maybe much sooner than later......

I can understand that. If you don't tow much, a gasser is the way to go. They have gotten the tow capacity up pretty good an today's gas trucks. Given all the emissions on diesels, higher maintenance cost, fuel cost ,etc, it just isn't worth the xtra cost unless you just need the xtra hp and torque

Ended up making a deal tonight on a left over 2018 - 6.4L Hemi Ram 2500 with a lot of nice equipment. Could not believe how well it all worked out, I got a lot more out of my truck than expected, and there are a TON of rebates. Used car people loved it - low mileage, perfect shape (Other than needing a set of brakes and rotor which I explained to them) and a diesel which they claim sell great around here.

It has a LOT better ride than mine and a lot of options which I think they wife will really like so I then to think we may drive it a bit more than the old one which would also be good.
