Mechanical pop up dovetail

All you would need are 2 hydraulic cylinders an a pump to push it up. Fairly easy to fab up if you were around here I would say stop by shouldn't take more than a few hours to weld up.

I would think a couple Harbor Freight cherry picker (engine hoist) rams with built in pumps would work or a couple 1.5" rams with something like a porta power head unit to provide the hydro pressure.

Y'all have me thinking now. One could adapt a "Porto-power" style set to make a manual setup, if there is enough reservoir capacity available.

Did some research on 12v systems:
12v pumps run about $350 and cylinders between $100-200. Most of the manufactured with hydraulic dovetails sell the components but are a little more expensive than a generic COTS pump.
