Thought I'd post some comments on the Mechron since we've had it a few months. Haven't really worked it too hard, but I'll add comments on that later.
Its our first ATV (and I tend to be picky), so some of my issues may be related to that.
Overall we're real happy with it, seems to have great traction, good payload capacity, and a lot of power. No way to clock it, but it seems to go faster than the specs say, plenty fast for the wife and I. It sure beats pushes wheelbarrows of hay through the mud. I think we got a good deal on it, $8999 out the door with a free canopy.
Some of the very few complaints in order of annoyance:
1) The parking brake lever is on the drivers left - may be ok for you skinny types, but I get goosed every time I get out of it.
2) Steering is stiff, for a 10K vehicle, power steering would have been nice.
3) Didn't realize when we bought it that taillights and turn signals were optional - saw the control on the dash for them (same as the tractor), so assumed they were there. Luckily we don't go on the road much.
No complaints other than those, many plastic parts, but I think that's industry wide. All in all, I don't think anything else out there compares for the money, especially with a diesel.
Going to see if I can add the signals/horn/tailights and definitely going for a windshield now that the cold weather is here.
