Messick's one month after the sale

I bought my tractor last Nov from Farm Country in Sulphur Springs, TX. I have nothing but good things to say about all the guys there, from the Sales, Shop, Parts Counter, and Delivery they do a great job.

Don't know why it's so hard for customers to give a "Praise" report for a good dealer and a good transaction. There should be MORE of them on this forum.

I agree, too. My belief is that all consumers EXPECT a warm smile, great service and the lowest price. Heck, I do. So when we get these things, well it's just as it should be and the service provider is just doing their job. When we don't, many feel cheated, taken advantage of and/or personally wronged. When folks feel this way, whether they have a legitimate beef or not, they're going to yell. It's unfortunate, but human nature seems to make complaining about bad easier than complimenting for good.

Just this morning I stopped at Autozone because the engine light is on in the wife's Jetta and someone told me that they check trouble codes for free. Some kid half my age was more than happy to walk with me to the lot and crawl under the dash, then chat with me afterward about what the code might mean (they never mean just one thing!!!). I made it a point to thank this young man for his time and tell him that it was a nice service to provide. You can bet I'll be patronizing that establishment again the next time I need something for the family fleet. Believe me, I'm not always peaches and cream but I try to thank folks for "doing their job" well.
