i got photoshop 9.0 CS2 AND photo impact pro.how you like my avatar i made.lolhere's a bigger picture of it that i shrunk in pixsizer. the guns are mine and i got the flag from my brother-n-law he's in the marines.i used photoshop to put the fire and lightning in it and also the lighting affect.

Photoshop is great but expensive. If you want to try photo editing there is free software that you can use which will do many of the things photoshop will do. Here are links to some really powerful free programs. There are links to great tutorials on their sites as well.

The Gimp - great photo editor
GIMP - The GNU Image Manipulation Program

Inkscape - great drawing program
Inkscape. Draw Freely.

Blender - Absolutely Amazing 3D editor
blender.org - Home

There are many more really nice free program on the net as well but these 3 are my favorites.

i see you go by the name luremaker.when i was a teenager i used to airbrush my friends dads fishing lures for him.he would carve them and i would paint them. there was one lure that he liked alot so he had me paint him a few of them just incase he lost one or two.

We I was in college I could never afford new lures so I started to rebuild old lures and never stopped. I build just about all my own lures. My fishing buddies call me the "Lure Maker".

My sister messes around with blender and seems to come up with some pretty cool things. I should give it a go sometime.

The Gimp has always seemed confusing to me. But it is probably just that I am not used to it.
