Makes sense, A larger blower diameter would blow the snow further, never looked at it that way. Always figured the RPM was the main factor. Live and learn as they say. Thanks Guys.

No what you need to do is determine the
"actual" volume of the impeller drum to
determine how much snow you can cast
at 540 RPM at 9 revolutions per second.

Size does not matter!!!!!!!!:laughing:

It is amazing how much snow a PTO blower will huck.

I admit I am over powering my Meteor. I bought it sized for my Kubota 3710 and run it off the back of a tractor with 3x the HP.

At 600 PTO RPM the snow coming out of the top of that thing is as thick as a heavy stream of concrete, and it gets thrown 12 - 15 feet in the air and 20 - 25 feet out (depending on chute deflection angle).
