Meteorite\'s
When my father was a boy back in the 1920's a small meteor hit in the park in our local town,he was able to get to it and broke a piece of it off (about the size of your palm) I have it in my possesion now.I was looking on the web and seen on tv one time there are people who actually buy and sell meteors and fragments of meteors etc and it brings big $$$$$$$$.I was looking at E-Bay they even had jewelry that had meteorite material incorporated in to it. I seen on tv an expert that dealt in meteors and said what really upped the ante was if you could sell something that was actually hit and damaged by the metorite, IE in France I believe he showed a picture of a car that had the front end caved in and the meteor were sold together for mega bucks. I just found all of this interesting and wanted to share with you .../w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
