Check your local classified adds, there are usually plows for sale cheap.
I paid $150.00 for a used 6' Meyers poly plow that I used for my FEL blade, to see the pics the and the post click HERE

I am not as handy as you guys obviously are. If I find a 6 or 6 1/2 foot truck snow plow, could a local shop convert it to my FEL? What do I need and how much would a quick attach be? I need two quick attach frames/plates or whatever they are called?

I originally got a $3,100 price from my NH dealer on a 6 foot plow with hydraulics and the two QA plates being welded on. If I can get that under $1,000 using a used plow, I would be happy.

You might also keep an eye out on ebay. Just recently, I bought a 2yr old, never used, 6' JD power angle, FEL snow blade for $700. Shipping was a lot, but all in all, I thought it was a great deal for basically a brand new setup.

I bought my 6' JD hydraulic plow with quick attach used from JCMseven here on tbn for $550 plus $300 in transportation costs. I also had to install the hydraulic lines which cost me about $300. I love this setup on my JD3320. Larry on here also did a great refab job on an old blade he had. His cost was about $50 or less. Depends on your time and access to tools and raw materials. I know I am learning to weld because of all the possibilities.
