Just a thought. I have a QA on my loader. Some years ago I bought a quick attach Bobcat style plate, and welded a cheap 3pt quick attach to it. Now having a 3pt adapter I have used it with a york rake on the loader, to get trash out of gullies. I have also used it with a carryall as a man lift, and a pole boom for setting trusses.
Although I haven't gotten around to it I thought of hooking a snowplow up the same way with a chain (for float) to what would be the top link. I think the snowplow brackets were about the correct width.
I don't have a photo. I hope my explanation was clear enough.:2cents:
I ran one year with my plow pinned to the HF 3 PT QA I had welded to a QA plate. It put the snow plow way out in front of the tractor and there was a lot of movement of the pins in the QA mounts. I just change to solid pin mounts on the QA and moved the attachment point forward on the plow from - http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/snow-removal/227380-help-modifying-plow-frame-front.html
Still no snow, so I can't tell you how it works, but I'm sure it will be a better setup. To the OP, do the search as recommended. There are lots of good ideas here.
