MF 1045 Glow Plug Time?

Looking for a manual... In the interum, anybody know how long to cycle the glow plugs? It's getting colder and begining to need them.....

On my 1020 about 60 seconds but they are old and don't heat up very good. If in good shape 15-20 seconds should be more then enough. I like to plug the block heater in to to assist in cold weather starting.

When I first got my 1010, I pulled the glow plugs and checked them by grounding each one on a steel trailer and applying battery charger current to them. All of them were good, but the funny thing I noticed is that for the first 10 seconds, absolutely nothing happened. Then they turned orange. So knowing that, I hit mine for 20 seconds on a normal day, but in winter, I'll go 45 seconds or so.
