I have recently purchased a 1971 MF 135 with the Perkins gas engine. I am renewing all the fluids as water was found to have gotten in the hydraulics. When draining the Transmission/Differential, with both the draft and position levers in the down position, the lift arms drag the ground. Can this be correct? Is there an adjustment to correct this? My father has a Ford 3000 diesel, which I am more familiar with and when the levers are down, the lift arms do not drag the ground. Please let me know if you know of any other threads where this issue is discussed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
