Mf 135 engine rebuild

   / Mf 135 engine rebuild #11
It is important not to use aluminum that is to soft for the disc that fits the bottom of the liner, a lot of pressure is put on them. I would also make an iron disc to reinforce the aluminum. Something about 1/2 " thick so it does not cup under pressure. I would think about making 2 aluminum discs if I were to be going 500mi from my shop. Also remember to make a piece to hold the 3/4 rod at the bottom so you can pull the new liner into the block. Hope it all goes well. Ed

HI Ed
do you happen to have a picture of the sleeve puller you made?
I have a yanmar 2cyl at a remote location that I would like to pull sleeves and reinsert w/o pulling the motor (ugh)
I know other tractornet readers would enjoy the pic too
thanks
bill
