Oil & Fuel MF 135 leaking gas from carburetor into air intake

They did use an oil bath air cleaner but I think they went to a dry air cleaner in later model years.

ovrszd is correct, inline motor updraft carb. If you get enough fuel to leak up into a cylinder you've got some serious issues. I do believe later models used dry element filters. My '64 35 Utility still uses the Donaldson style wet air filter.

it sounds like the float is leaking, take the float out and shake it, if you hear gas sloshing around, replace the float. I solder my own floats, but that's for someone with a lot of soldering experience!..
