#11 Last one. Overall, I was extemely pleased with how it all turned out. For the first time to ever paint I was really satisfied. I'll be very cautious for a while when I have to get near any brush. Thanks for looking.
Tom, excellent job. Before I decided to play with Oliver tractors I really looked hard at a lot of older Massey units. I still like them alot and I am really impressed with your restoration. It is better than many of those I've seen in shows. You'll also get a lot of work out of that thing. When I do restorations I do them as working restorations rather than historically accurate ones, largely because there is a practical aspect to these toys we own and if you can't use it for work every now and again then it really cuts down on the enjoyment factor of the tractor. Again, excellent job!
I always thought a "working restoration" was the only true "historically accurate!" restoration [and definitely much more fun] /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Awesome restoration Tom, thanks for sharing! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Very nice job Tom. I like the way you ripped it apart and painted it all up. What a beautiful job you have done with it. Thanks for the photos. I always enjoy seeing someone work hard and the end result for it. Did you put hardener in the paint so that it will be chip resistant? Now don't be afraid to use it.
That's a nice job you did there. When I was a kid I drove one of those 135s about every day in the summer, mowing, grading, brush cutting, grdening, around my grand parents farm in Georgia. It was a good machine.
