MF 135
Have MF 135, current situation is I need to remove the hydraulic pump. This is due to send going all the way up no matter where the levers are. Took dipstick side cover off on right side and pushed the control valve in and it still pumps wide open.
I have it loose in there besides the fact that its still connected to the pto on the lower shaft. I have removed pto shaft. I cant figure out how the hydraulic pump and the part for the pto come apart so I can remove it. The union is right below the hex shaft in the pictures I am going to attach. What am I missing here? Do I have to split the tractor?

Yes you have an ipto unit attached to the pump ,before you do try to free up the control valve by running the tractor at idle and moving the control lever back and forward you may be lucky

To answer your question: You will have to split the tractor between the transmission and center housing. On tractors with IPTO (and Multipower), the hydraulic pump package is removed as a unit through the opening in the front of the center housing. You really should have a Massey Ferguson shop manual to guide you through this repair, especially if you need to separate the aux pump from the main pump. And for what it's worth: if you have any concerns about the condition of that aux pump or IPTO hydraulic clutch pack, now would be the time...
This is what my IPTO clutch discs looked like:

Good luck.

G'day Oakdale.
before you split the tractor can you take the best pictures of the control valve and post them even a short video.
Regards.
Hutch.
