Howdy,
I've had my MF 1433 for 4 years and love it! Up here in Vermont, it has always performed well for me in the heat and cold. One thing I do notice tho is that the FEL joystick is stiff to operate in cold weather until the tractor warms up. I've been told that this is due to moisture freezing in the actuator cyclinders of the joystick. Is this true? If so, is there a fix?
Thanks for any suggestions.

I don't see how, because the valve is completely covered to where rain can't get to it. I would say that it is because the fluid is still cold. When the fluid gets warmed up, then it thins and the valve works better.

Colh yydraulic oil is thicker and more slugish. Tolerances within the valve itself could also get a little tighter in extreme cold.
