I don't know for sure there should be a pig tail plug in for a trailer under left rear fender? I want to do this mine as well but so far I have not had the need for it yet, But I do want to do it to both of my tractors:unsure:!M-F 50&M-F 1526& welcome to TBN

I found this information from Vahrenberg/ Implements a Massey-Ferguson dealer , & he gave me the company & part no.where You can order it from AGCO thru your local M-F dealer the name of the company is Sparex part no. is S.118198 This is the work light they use on the M-F 1526 & GC series 1725 (standard) & can be used on the 1723 as well, the work light has a on/off switch on the lamp & comes with the hardware & wiring harness with the loom. & this can only ordered thru your local M-F dealer , & I do not know the price.

I went directly from battery positive post through inline fuse to after market switch (on dash) to lamp... Grounded lamp at lamp position... Sometime trying to connect into a system the was never designed to be connected into can cause real headaches.... DIY from battery post keeps it simple...

Also used same concept (shared fuse) for auxiliary power to electric pump on sprayer....

Thanks for the compliment! All 3 pieces of equipment are used on my property & to maintain our private road & help my neighbors when I can, The dump truck is a 1999 1 ton Chevrolet C3500 dually with a HEIL dump body with a 5.7 gasoline

You look like you take really good care of them. They all look in great shape, even the dump truck.

Thanks again! I do take care of them to keep operating cost down ,& I do not want to buy anymore equipment & the dump truck & my trailer I've got do annual state safety inspections on so I make sure they are in tip top shape. & I drove trucks for 44 years & recently retired  , So I don't want to waist money on tickets or breakdowns & I do about 95% work on all of my mechanical children:love:!& the dump truck is the 1st one I've ever drove or owned ,& only has 53,000 on her. Thanks again & that's a nice rig have you have as well in your portfolio.

Thanks Can Do. I no longer have the Paystar. I have also exited the trucking industry after 36 years. I'm now an equipment operator in a mine. Got a few more years before I retire. Work 7 days and have 7 off. I love it! Lots of time to play now.

The mine I work at has a brand new aluminum Dell deck-over dump body they took off their new F550 truck. I was going to try and buy it for my F550, but I just sold it and replaced it with a Kubota RTV-X1100C with a Boss vee plow. I wasn't using the F550 much and I could just see the diesel turning into a money pit. Will get more use from the RTV as it's a good match for my small B series TLB.

Hey Paystar! Did the Paystar have a Maxforce or a Cummins in it ? I went with that 1 ton dump truck so I can haul material dirt/gravel mostly & pull my trailer with it & I usally have the M-F 1526 on it . I bought it also because gas is cheaper than diesel & I'm one of those who believe a diesel needs to be worked on regular basis & IMHO I think it does not hurt a gas engine to sit as much as it does a diesel & insurance is allot cheaper on that size truck & it's not being used as a business or farm equipment , Just personal use. I really like that Kubota RTV -X1100C that is really a versatile piece of equipment,& that work schedule sounds pretty sweet (y), Have fun & be safe.

No Can Do. The Paystar had a C13 Acert Cat 485 in it. I wanted a C15 but at that time they were on back order so went with the C13 and was really impressed with it. It pulled great. Had 2 friends with same trucks, same gearing and they had ISX 565's in theirs and I could stay right on their tailgates up the hills.
After that truck I ran emissions ISX 600 and a DD15 that made me hate life, LOL.

& I thought they only ran( I/H ) Cummins & Maxforce  , Totally get the emission buzz kill, That's why I went with that M-F 1526 , No regen,DPF, Or DEF & it has the power I need & the old 59 M-F 50 if gasoline,But I can still get red diesel if it where a diesel for the 50. Thank You for your reply(y).

Ya, International used Cat until Cat pulled out of the on road market. Now it's just Cummins and the A26.

I feel the same way. While Massey was always my favorite, I have no dealers close by, but have a Kubota/Deere dealer that treats me like gold. So I stayed with a 26 h.p. B2620 that has no DPF. Then I just bought the RTV which has the same D1105 engine. Next I want to get a U27 which also uses the D1105.
And have my 1955 Allis Chalmers CA.
I do want an antique Massey and have been dying to go to the Mecum Gone farming auction but this covid crap screwed me out of that three times now. I want to go when I can go see the tractors in person and not have to talk through a mask.

Hey Paystar! Thanks for the feed back on that Cat engine , Have You seen those medium duty Silverado by Chevrolet? They're building that class truck for I/H in a joint partnership.& on a different note I think this Covid 19 :poop: :poop::poop:has been just that! But I digress ,I went out of my way to get both of the M-F's The 59 M-F 50 I have had for 25 years now . & I bought it used & was the 1st tractor I've owned or anyone in our family:whistle:! & when I wanted a new tractor with a FEL & 4wd I bought the M-F 1526 & it was a perfect match to work with the dump truck ;)& seeing how reliable the 50 was I stuck with M-F. The J D dealer was the closest to my house about 5 miles & the Kubota dealer was about 14 miles away, But if your dealers treat You good I can see you going with them.My brother just bought his 1st ever tractor & bought a M-F GC 1723EB & just took delivery last week(y). & believe or not I had very little influence on his decision:rolleyes:! I use to watch on RFDTV Mecum gone farming auction whenever they had it on but it was usually a rerun they had on Sat. But I have a different provider now & they don't carry the network(n), & I do miss that network.Take it easy have fun & be safe.

Yes, I have seen the CV/Silverado Can Do. I used to follow truck models pretty close. But I'm finally slowly getting out of that. I am an International guy at heart though.
When I started tractor shopping I wanted a GC. Tried one out and loved it. Then starting thinking I should go a bit bigger and get a 1526. But like I said Massey dealers are 4 hours and more away from me. Just happened to go to my Kubota dealer one day and they treated me great. Funny thing is Kubota wasn't even on my list, LOL Now they are all I buy.

RFD-TV is the only channel I watch. We just got it about two years ago in Canada on Shaw. The Mecum Auction is still on there.

I gotta get there some day. Those tractors sell cheaper than I can get one painted for. They had a beautiful restored Massey 35 at the last one. But I really want a Super 98 with the Detroit Diesel. I've ran a lot of Detroits in the past.

Paystar! I was checking out a Super 98 & it looks allot like my 50, Just bigger ! Quite a history on who made those for Massey-Ferguson , There is 1 for sale at Tractor House located in Tenn. & has been recently restored with a cab & the Detroit diesel what a beast asking price on it was $25,000 ,The cab has dual rear doors reminds me of a M.M. cab. I also like the International trucks drove DuraStars,TranStars & a ProStars The last being my favorite with a Cummins & who doesn't like the LoneStar But my all time favorites are the Chevrolet 90 & the Titan from the 70's those where the best looking conventional & cabovers that Chevrolet made IMHO  .

No I never Can Do. Not really able to do anything right now anyway. Border here is still in the flu lockdown.

I like to go look at stuff in person when I buy. I don't always trust pictures.

One of those would be nice because I am good friends with a retired Detroit Diesel mechanic and I know he can make one run strong!
