MF 1529 stopped running blown fuse

My 2009 MF 1529 was happily working using PTO with a finishing mower when it stopped running like someone turned off the key
I attempted to start but it makes the same noise as if it is not in neutral...slight clicking noise and the lights come on in the dash.
I checked the fuses and the 10a fuse was blown...Operator manual says its for Alternator and monitor. I replaced the fuse and it immediately blew again.
The starter didnt attempt to turn over...just made a clicking noise (sounds like a relay)
Ideas??

If you are blowing a fuse immediately when you turn the key, that fuse is protecting its circuit from something it is shorting to ground.

I would first start looking for any insulation on wires that has been chewed or rubbed off. Since it happened when you were mowing I'd pay special attention the the underneath area, maybe something got thrown up and clipped a wire.

Do you have a Voltmeter and a wiring schematic as the next step would be trying to find that short.

I do have a voltmeter and a wiring schematic but I think the big issue now is moving the tractor to a place where I can actually look at it....right now it is in the middle of my lawn
The front end loader is attached and down as well as the finishing mower attached to the 3 point so I dont know how I am going to tow it

Unplug the wire from the back of the alternator.. just to move it.

If I leave the tractor for a while, it will start but then it will blow the fuse again....I was able to get it up onto the driveway but I cant figure out why its blowing a fuse....I thought it might be the fuel cutoff solenoid so I removed it but it still blows the fuse

Can you post a copy of your wiring schematic? Approximately how long does it run before blowing the fuse?

IF its for the charge indicator light and initialization for alternator I say its a alternator problem... IF you unplug alternator and it starts and you can move without blowing fuse its pretty sure alternator is the problem....

Need to see portion of wiring diagram in manual between fuse and alternator....
