Massey Ferguson GC1720
Been a while since I’ve posted here. Just wanted to update everyone.

I currently have 758 hours on my MF 1720. The majority of those hours are mowing and brush cutting with several hours of loader work, backhoe operation and miscellaneous chores such as dragging trees, plowing and pulling trailers mixed in. Tractor has been well maintained and has performed flawlessly other than a few hoses, front drive shaft (got wrapped with wet grass and broke) and both backhoe joystick levers broke within 20 seconds of one another on a very cold winter day.

Without hesitation, I would recommend an Iseki Massey Ferguson for anyone looking for a sub compact tractor.

Thanks Steve. I have a grandson looking to buy a compact with backhoe & loader. He's comparing the MF GC1700 and the Kubota BX25. Lot of money in those machines.

I think the equivalent Kubota was at least $4,000 more than my GC1720. The price, plus I like red, helped with the decision. No regrets or issues here either. It is a real workhorse.

>100 hours on my 1720, mix of backhoe and loader work. Some flail hours too.
No issues so far (knock on wood).

I’m at 446, hard hours on my 19’ 1723.
