Mf 2605 wont start

Mf 2605 been sitting up for four mths went to start up and it cranked ran for about ten minutes then slowly died down then stopped

check your fuel filter and the tank

It's been sitting all winter. If untreated it may have gelled. Consider draining the tank, adding fresh fuel, and purging fuel lines.

Sure sounds fuel related. Assuming "Eastern NC" is North Carolina, did that area have a recent cold snap with snow?

Depending on the source of info, diesel (summer, untreated) :
Cloud Point 32 deg f
Cold Filter Plug Point (CFPP) 10-15 deg
Gel Point 0 deg
Bio diesel will be less cold tolerant.

So at 10-15 degrees your filter could clog up.
These numbers vary considerably when "researched". The numbers I decided upon may, or may not, be entirely accurate.

I just bought diesel yesterday at our Exxon and I saw a tag on the pump saying that it's "Bio-diesel" now. Our climate rarely sees cold weather, but we have had light frost at times in the winter. Gone within a few hours after sun rise; but should I be concerned enough to start adding additives to it?? I sure don't want to experience any of the problems that you minus zero folks have reported.

U BETTER get an additive..
Not trying to start a fight w anyone BUT.. as someone who knows, I’ve seen Bio start to “gell up” after a week of sitting in an unused tractor.. & I had to do minor surgery to get the tractor back running..

BIO will jell a whole lot faster that #2 diesel
when its cold or starts to cool off TREAT your
fuel BIO save your self a lot of head aches
I know that the guys running veggie oil {BIO} had
to start their vehicles on diesel warm up then switch
over to bio then before shutting off switch back to
diesel or it would gum up the works
