Trying to pin down which new tractor to look at. As bad as buying a car. I want to upgrade my trusty Jacobsen to a bigger model with more toys. Specifically want a loader as I'm getting too old to keep shoveling topsoil, mulch etc. Have seen the MF 2900 on their website www.masseylawn.com. Is anyone familiar with this model compared to the GX2300 (which seems impossible to find and may have even replaced the 2900) and the JD, Kubota routes. $14-15000 is an awful lot of money to spend. Prefer to do as much homework as possible as it's hard to find dealers that are close in this NJ area.
Simplicity makes these for Massey, same as the Simplicities just different decals(2900 = Legacy) Simplicity . By the time you add the 3-point lift(only Cat 0) rear PTO, and aux hydraulics you end up paying more than you would for a BX and still only have 2 wheel drive!
