Hi There Folk,
My MF 3165 Industrial Loader's fan belt is running too close to the bottom radiator hose,
and is rubbing it through.
Here is where I'm up to:
1. Have tightened the fan belt reasonably well....not over tight though.
2. Have tried fitting new hoses. They chafe through and so does my temperament!
3. I have tried a stainless hose clamp pinching the bottom hose in...... same result (temper as well)
4. I have checked the alignment of the generator pulley with the crankshaft pulley. All good....no one sided
wear on the belt down in the V.....
As far as I know, it has original water pump, fan boss not pressed on over specification. I'm beat......
Near divorced due to bad temper!....
