Anybody know the volume in gallons required for loading a rear tire on a 1964.

You don't give a tire size but the link below will get you close.

rule of thumb is 1 gallon per every 1" in tire size. 38" tire is 38 gallon, approx.

You can google "Rimguard". They have volume tables on their web site. My rear tires - 16.9x28, 69 gallons, 738 pounds/tire
